Overview

Komedia Bath is one of the leading mid-scale venues in the UK. It opened in Bath in 2008 after a £1m renovation of  the grade one listed former Beau Nash Cinema. The venue quickly established itself in the region with its unique mix of comedy music and cabaret winning the Chortle Award for Best Venue in the West and Wales. The venue restoration was also recognised as it picked up the Award for Best Heritage Restoration in the UK.

Alongside the weekly sell out Krater Comedy Club and monthly Ministry of Burlesque shows, Komedia is also a feature on the national touring circuit for high profile music and comedy acts and is involved in Bath's many festivals.

Whilst excellent food is integral to many of Komedia's events, the venue also operates a daytime Canteen in the hugely impressive building. Komedia offers the best in local and seasonal food working with the South West's best producers including Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall's River Cottage and Bristol-based Pieminister.
