Overview
Photographic artist specialising in local architectural landmarks
My passion is architecture - the buildings around us inspire my pictures. My choice of architecture exemplifies a point and time in the history of our cultural heritage. I capture the natural colours, and let light bring out the tones that make up the patterns in the structure. I let the architecture dictate the treatment of the photograph.
Customers have variously described my pictures as contemporary, timeless and having a fanciful optimism. They share with me the enjoyment of the character and beauty of our man made surroundings.
Bio: I graduated from Harrow School of Art and worked for brochure publishers specialising in contemporary interiors. My love of architecture combined with developments in digital technology inspired me to create art from architecture. I have been creating photographicart since 2002.
My pictures sell via galleries and retailers and I am always interested in talking to customers in new locations interested in commissions for pictures of landmarks local to their area.
I am happy to link in with groups concerned with the preservation of important buildings, and on request may give permission for use of my images to help conservation and to promote awareness.
