Overview

Matthew Hynam Design is a design practice within the South West of England. Previously Matthew was a founding partner at Studio KAH where he worked on a number of projects including private houses, arts installations, community buildings, prototype hub buildings, an arts centre and a series of contemporary interventions for a medieval church. Prior to this Matthew worked for Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios in Bath.

As well as working in the practice Matthew is involved in further education through teaching and research as a visiting lecturer to the Architecture & Planning degree course at the University of the West of England. This is seen as an important part of developing an architectural acumen and continuing the intellectual debate about architectural language and ideas.
