Event overview:

•    Do you love making films?
•    Would you like to improve your skills or learn new techniques?
•    Do you want your film to be seen by people around the world?
•    Are you between the ages of 17 and 19?
•    If the answer is yes then you could take part in the Suited and Booted Studios Film Nation project.

London 2012 has created Film Nation: Shorts in partnership with the UK Film Council – a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the next generation of young film makers.

This official London 2012 film project encourages young people aged 14–25 to make short films, telling their own stories in their own way.
All the films made will be entered into the Film Nation competition and the winners will see their work screened in iconic London 2012 venues during the Games!

The films made are put on the Film Nation website for everyone to see.

Suited and Booted Studios CIC have been commissioned to deliver film and animation projects as part of the Film Nation scheme to make films which will be entered into the Film Nation competition.

You will work in collaboration with a filmmaker or animator from Suited and Booted Studios learning new skills and improving your own animation techniques.  

You will work over 5 days to create an animated film of up to three minutes long, inspired by the Olympic and Paralympic Values of respect, excellence, friendship, courage, determination, inspiration, and equality.

Your film can be a documentary, drama, animation... it’s up to you.

We are asking you to fill in a short application form to tell us why you want to take part.

If you are successful we will let you know by the 3rd of September
