Headlines A New Writing Showcase by Corner Theatre

In a year marked by revolution, natural disasters and the ever-humbling human capacity for hope and survival how do we begin to reflect?

Bristol-based theatre company, Corner Theatre, has asked an international team of writers this very question. What they have come up with are six new pieces of theatre to be performed this November at The Little Black Box Theatre in Bristol.

Writers involved in the project hail from California, New York, Bristol, Bath, and Cardiff and include Dom Rowe from Bristol-based new writing theatre company, Edible Theatre (My Previous Self, The Wardrobe Theatre), Simon Harvey Williams from Bristol-based company Darkstuff Productions (Outside, The Tobacco Factory), Alison Farina from Bath-based new writing theatre company, Butterfly Psyche (The Persistence of Memory, The Rondo Theatre) and Lotty Morris (The Ordinary Three, Theatre Halliwell, Trinity College) from Cardiff.

Artistic Director of Corner Theatre (and director of the production), Nancy Medina, is keeping the topics top secret, so you will have to come to the production to find out what has inspired these writers this year!
