Event overview:

Roger Saul is something of a fashion legend. Born and raised in Somerset, and educated in Bath, he created Mulberry at the tender age of 21, then went on to grow a global, iconic brand, while ensuring its roots stayed firmly in his home county.

During his 33 years at the helm, Mulberry twice won the prestigious Queens Award for Export. Personally, Roger became Chairman of the London Designer Collections and was voted British Classic Designer of the year in 1992

On his departure from Mulberry in the late 1990’s Roger completely reviewed his life and refocused his priorities away from the world of fashion. Always the entrepreneur Saul, alongside his wife Monty, ran Charlton House boutique hotel, developed an organic farm and food brand that sells throughout the world and restored Kilver Court in Shepton Mallet, re-launching it as a designer shopping destination, farm shop and wedding venue

'Fashion: To Farming and Back' will be hosted by Creative Bath and is a rare opportunity to hear anecdotes from Roger's remarkable career and explore what his future might hold.
