Place Value

Alan Boldon, Deborah Aguirre Jones and Heath Bunting debate how best to develop sustainable art projects, with a strong sense of place.

Alan Boldon heads the new Institute of Arts and Ecology. He devises inspiring and thought-provoking interdisciplinary projects as an artist, curator and project manager. One of his research interests is in the process of consulting with places on what they want and need.

Deborah Aguirre Jones is an internationally exhibited South West visual artist. Her recent work involves research-oriented performances which contain encounters and exchanges with invited participants.
