Event overview:

Bath Talks Art
Think again about Bath’s cultural life

Time to ask questions, to find inspiration and to learn more about the thinking behind local arts programming and planning.

Place Value

Alan Boldon, Deborah Aguirre Jones and Heath Bunting debate how best to develop sustainable art projects, with a strong sense of place.

Chaired by Steve Wright – Arts Editor of Venue Magazine.

What happens when artists and engineers share their ideas and work together?
How do artists and project leaders plan work in a sustainable and eco-conscious way?
What can we learn from what’s happening elsewhere?
Alan Boldon heads the new Institute of Arts and Ecology and is a fellow of the RSA. He devises inspiring and thought-provoking interdisciplinary projects as an artist, curator and project manager. One of his research interests is in the process of consulting with places on what they want and need.
