Event overview:

A group of Bath based artists, designers and illustrators who work together as The Bath Painting Group are holding their debut exhibition, Unframed, at St James Wine Vaults as part of the 2010 Bath Fringe Festival.

Founder member, Rob Lunn, explains the thinking behind the exhibition: “Unframed is an expression of the group’s diversity and sense of community. All work will – as the title suggests – be unframed, but the name is also intended to reflect the group’s philosophy towards artistic technique and expression without boundaries”.

The group, who’s members include acclaimed Belgian artist Valérie Pirlot and inkCap design’s Nick Moyle, hold monthly life drawing sessions at Bath Artists’ Studios, and meet for ‘on location’ studies and social discussions. New members of all abilities are welcomed to join their ranks.
