Event overview:

This year’s Fringe Arts Bath programme celebrates all forms of art from a whole host of local, national and international artists.

<o:p>Highlights of the festival include exploratory works such as Tim Holsgrove’s photography, which, exhibited in public places, holds a mirror up to the situations that led to the photographs being taken; Romanian Bath (Green Park Station) shows how Romanian identity and culture have been misperceived; and Rachel Wilberforce’s Vanishing Point explores the transformative and transcending nature of theatrical internal spaces. All this alongside the Caravan Gallery, Here Today, Gone Tomorrow, Vulpes Vulpes, <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Swansea</st1:city></st1:place> Print Maker, Keynsham Creates and many more.</o:p>

All exhibitions and most events are FREE and can be found in and around <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Bath</st1:place></st1:city> city centre. Associated shows and events include Treasure by artists based at Bath Artists Studios; Black Families Street Art by the art youth workshops of The Black Families Education Support Group and Unframed by the Bath Painting Group. This year’s Photomarathon’s results are housed with FABs Curated Show at the Octagon and from here all other venues are easily navigable with our handy map.<o:p></o:p>

Not to be forgotten is FAB Art Fair 2010. Showing the best from the local, up-and-coming contemporary artists at Saw Close, FAB will be teaming up with The Fringe’s Bedlam Sunday on the 6^th of June. <o:p></o:p>
