Launched in 2007, Executive Hire Show has quickly become the unmissable national exhibition for the tools, equipment and plant hire industry. This show brings the industry together and is the annual event where Passionate Hirers Meet Innovative Suppliers. To be held on Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9 February 2012. Our 2011 Show attracted 133 exhibitors (for example JCB, DeWalt, Hilti) and a record 1843 hirer visitors from both national and independent hire companies throughout the UK, Europe and further afield. We also hold a networking Party on the Thursday evening. This year is set to be even bigger as we are adding another hall to the event, which is why we are looking for some help!

You will be working closely with the Event Manager assisting with all aspects of organising the event. We are such a small team that you will be able to get involved in a bit of everything and so hopefully feel like you have a good all round understanding of what is required to put on a trade show. This will include Sales, Marketing, Administration and Operations to name but a few. You will be based in our offices in the Manor House at Hartham Park in Wiltshire and would need your own transport or be able to get a lift. Our hours of business are 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday.

This is a full or part time position for a period of approximately 4 months from November 2011 through to February 2012, but you will be required to work the whole of the event on-site, so week commencing 6 February 2012. The closing date for entries is Friday 21 October and there is one position available.

The successful candidate would, first and foremost, need to demonstrate a commitment to work in the events industry, have a confident, enthusiastic and out-going personality, be computer literate and have good organisational skills.
