Bath Music Plus announces first star names for concert series

Queen guitarist Brian May and acoustic singer-songwriter Newton Faulkner are the first two artists named to play in a new series of 12 concerts in 12 months planned by the new Bath Music Plus initiative.

The concerts, taking place at The Forum on 21st May and 15th June, are part of a plan to restore Bath's past musical prowess, which saw performances from bands such as The Beatles, The Who and Fleetwood Mac.

In addition to this, a free event on 29th April in Royal Victoria Park will give people the chance to see The Bootleg Beatles.
