The House Wins Award
Bath based –brand agency, The House, were named ‘external trainers of the year’ at Bath University’s recent Development and Achievement Awards, despite stiff competition from international companies including PWC and Accenture.
Their workshop brand vs bland received glowing praise from students, who described it as ‘inspiring’ and ‘the best I’ve ever been to’
The interactive session guided students through brand definition, examples of remarkable high street retail brands and concluded with students creating their own brands in an ‘apprentice style’ pitch.
Collecting their accolade Creative Director Steven Fuller commented:
“It’s great to have won but most rewarding is to see students identify how important brand is to business success. The ideas generated in the session were inspiring and I’m sure there are international entrepreneurs in the making on the Bath University campus”
By the end of awards night, a number of students and lecturers had already signed up to the next workshop, so the relationship between The House and Bath University looks set to grow
