Grant funding available
Local community / voluntary organisations, networks and businesses are being invited to make bids for £1.3m in grant funding, which has been allocated to the Bath and North East Somerset Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) by Central Government.
The LSP is the organisation which brings together the local NHS, Avon Fire and Rescue, Avon and Somerset Police, voluntary organisations and local businesses. The Council is administering the fund on the LSP’s behalf.
A small grants fund worth £300,000 is available, as well as a main fund of £1m. Both funds have the aim of meeting the aspirations set out in the LSP’s Sustainable Community Strategy for Bath and North East Somerset.
Applications and proposals could focus on delivering the aspirations set out in the economy section of the strategy, for example delivering business support and advice activities, helping businesses become more carbon-efficient, the delivery of more appropriate workspace facilities, skills improvements, and so on.
If you’re interested in finding out more about both funds and the Sustainable Community Strategy, please click on the link below. On these webpages you will find a useful “Frequently Asked Questions” section as well as contact details for more enquiries.
