Artworks Media hosts MA in Feature Filmmaking

Artswork Media, Bath Spa University’s media production business will host an MA in Feature Filmmaking beginning in October 2011.

The degree programme will be managed by the University’s School of Humanities and Cultural Industries and will be taught by the Department of Film and Media Production.

This is a highly practical course for the filmmakers of tomorrow. The course will give successful applicants collaborative, industry-focused experience of micro-budget feature filmmaking.  Students will graduate with a wealth of professional contacts, a thorough knowledge of the business of filmmaking and a significant showreel - including a fully developed feature film project.

The course is aimed at students with aspirations as directors, producers, directors of photography, editors and other creative roles within filmmaking.  Both fiction and factual projects will be considered.  The programme of study is designed to build upon the applicant’s previous filmmaking experience and current professional practice.

The deadline for applicants for 2011 entry is 15 September.  Interviews will be held on the 22 September.
