Overview

Bath and London based film makers Phil Derham and Benny Ridolfi are on their way to getting their advert used by the recruitment agency, Reed, as part of their national TV campaign later this month.

Phil and Benny won the prestigious Reed short film competition last year with their film Spread The Word which judges said was “... a really ambitious project, which takes an original idea and combines it with stunning cinematography and incredible attention to detail."

After winning the pair were then invited to take part in an invite only competition when Reed personally asked 20 up-and-coming filmmakers to create their new TV ad. Out of the 20 adverts which were created, they eventually chose six of their favourites to put to the public vote. Now it's up to you to decide which filmmaker gets their advert screened and wins the £10,000.00 prize.

Phil and Benny's film The Quest can been seen and voted for here http://www.reed.co.uk/youdecide  Keeping with the epic nature of Spread the Word, The Quest combines, knights, dragons and fair princesses, all in a 30 second ad.

But don't delay, the voting closes on the 11th January.

Winning the prize would not only mean the get their advert used as the national TV campaign for Reed, but with the prize money the guys would like to produce a film about knife crime.

For more details about the project Phil can be contacted through Suited and Booted Studios (when he's not producing epic tales of daring do, he works here!)
