CEO Brett Raynes founded Cloud Direct in 2003. He had a vision of replacing old-world, on-premises IT with a simple, scalable and secure packaged cloud service that organisations could subscribe to in the same way they do with their electricity or gas service.
Cloud Direct wanted to help small to midsize businesses compete and thrive by freeing them from the pain and cost of traditional IT - this was before the term ‘cloud’ was on the lips of most people.
