Established in 2010, Visual Arts South West (VASW) is a network creating opportunities for artists, organisations and professionals across the SW region. We are part of the national Contemporary Visual Arts Network (CVAN) dedicated to working together to realise a stronger visual arts sector for the benefit of artists, arts organisations and audiences, present and future.

Our core aims are to:

1. Raise the visibility of the South West’s visual arts sector, both in the region and nationally

2. Advocate for diverse perspectives our area

3. Focus on addressing the big issues facing the sector in the region

4. Develop a more resilient visual arts sector
