MediaClash is looking for a freelance full-stack developer with expertise in Django, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The role can be undertaken in the office or at home, it is very varied. There are small to medium ad-hoc requests on a daily to weekly basis, from making an amend to a form on a website to implementing a new piece of functionality.

MediaClash’s digital agency produces websites for a diverse range of clients including charities, academia, retailers, wealth management. We also support a number of prestigious awards sites for our portfolio of well-respected magazines including Bath Life, Cardiff Life, Exeter Living, Bristol Life and Crumbs. 

From one-page brochureware sites to e-commerce. We are looking for a capable developer who can work to briefs and respond to queries and amends quickly as well as contribute ideas and suggestions for producing high-quality solutions for our clients across mobile, tablet and desktop platforms. 

Essentials

  • Experience using version control such as Git or BitBucket
  • Experience in a Django/Python environment
  • Experience of Linux servers
  • Sass or other CSS pre-processors
  • Good JavaScript abilities
  • Up to date HTML5 and CSS3 knowledge
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Styling and coding for responsive design

Desirables 

•    Experience using Vagrant 
•    Knowledge of Fabric
•    Experience with RESTful APIs
•    Experience with Agile working practises
•    Experience with Front End templating languages e.g. Moustache
