Writer/Presenter

Do you know your Outer Wilds from your Outer Worlds? Can you tell your TSMs from your G2s? And are you hungry to create videos on a vibrant, gaming-themed YouTube channel? If so, we have an amazing opportunity for you. 

Award-winning creative media agency Dialect is looking for a presenter and writer to join a gaming YouTube channel with over 250,000 subscribers.

You’ll work with the existing team to write, present, and produce videos about every aspect of gaming. You need to know and love the industry, but you //don’t// need years of experience. If you’ve always wanted a job in gaming and have the passion and ability, we want to hear from you. This role could be for you.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities 

  • Presenting regular to-camera videos
  • Recording let’s plays 
  • Event reporting
  • Script writing
  • Gameplay capture
  • Recording VO
  • Esports coverage

 

Special Requirements for this role:

  • Overseas travel

Job Specific Skills and Attributes 

Essential Requirements: 

  • Passion for and knowledge about games, and a desire to present and write videos about them
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong editorial voice and confident presenting manner
  • Ability to work collaboratively, take feedback, and effectively implement changes

Preferred Requirements:

  • Esports knowledge
  • Experience presenting on camera
  • Experience of YouTube channel ownership/management
  • Experience of social media management
  • Specialist knowledge of PC gaming and culture
