Summary

Our Educational Day Service (EDS) provides support to adults who are deaf, deaf-blind or hard of hearing with additional needs in the areas of life skills, woodwork, ceramics, craft, art, key skills, drama, music, life skills and card-making.

We are looking for a person to provide cover when staff are training, on leave etc. If you are looking for a rewarding job with a friendly team, we would love to hear from you.

We are open Monday to Friday, if you are interested in work on a casual basis with no commitment to set days of work, please contact us.

We are looking for a person who is: compassionate, positive, skilled in areas mentioned above, BSL L1 (preferred), supportive

What we offer: full induction and core training, fully funded BSL training L2, creative environment, friendly team.

You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a genuine interest in this field and be committed to promoting Equal Opportunities and the choice of the people using our service. You will receive full induction training into the area and the service. This post is subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check.
