You will join a team of Sales Development Reps and have access to a variety of formal training, mentoring and on-the-job training to develop into a qualified IT Technical Salesperson.

This role is to develop quality sales leads for the sales team. This will involve engaging with prospects throughout the early stages of their buying process – ensuring that we are front of mind when they are ready to speak to a supplier.

Responsibilities

  • Follow-up all in-bound sales enquiries
  • Follow-up all partner generated leads
  • Manage live-chat on the website
  • Manage a target list of accounts to generate engagement with via phone, email and social
  • Nurture leads with regular contact until they are ready for a sales appointment
  • Recruit delegates to marketing events
  • Attend marketing events
  • Calling and social selling to cold, warm and hot leads
  • Researching target businesses, individuals and contact information
  • Lead management within CRM

Technical skills

  • Experience in an IT and/or sales environment is beneficial however it is not essential as full training will be provided to help you develop the following skills:
  • Sales calling and sales skills
  • Information management in CRM system
  • Tracking engagement and touchpoints within target accounts
  • Researching target businesses, individuals and contact information
  • Social selling

  • Ability to build a rapport with prospects
  • Confidence in contacting prospects on phone and social media
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Interest in business and the challenges and opportunities faced by businesses
