Job Overview 

The Production Manager role encompasses resource planning, booking of internal and freelance team members, creating client-facing timelines, creating and maintaining deliverable lists, and ensuring great communication for all stakeholders.

Whilst the role is mostly related to post production, frequent studio-based and location-based filming will also need to be managed with the wider team and freelancers.

The successful candidate will be incredibly process driven and organised, with a great eye for detail and the ability to work across multiple projects.

The role is initially working from home, but later in the year transitioning to work in our office in central Bath for at least two days per week.

 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities 

  • Working with the wider team to turn client briefs into clear deliverable lists

  • Developing resource requirements and timelines for projects

  • Ensuring adherence to production milestones and deadlines

  • Managing bookings of internal staff, Dialect’s studio and equipment 

  • Booking external freelance for production and post production when required

  • Ensuring review rounds and final asset deliveries are accurate and timely

  • Managing localization / subtitling (through third party specialists)

  • Managing archiving of completed projects

  • Maintaining the Dialect studio and equipment stores

 

Essential requirements:

  • Great knowledge of video post production workflows

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Experience of working on complex projects with multiple deliverables

  • Experience of using project / resource management applications

 

Nice to have:

  • Experience of creating and managing budgets

  • Experience of client account management / comms
