Full Job Description

Working across our diverse and exciting range of titles, you will be reporting to the managing director while working with the ad sales team, editors, designers and other staff. We are looking for a self-motivated designer with excellent organisational skills and in-depth knowledge and experience of print and production processes. 

• Expected term of six to eight months, starting end of August
• Bath office (central location)
• Competitive salary

Designer/advert co-ordinator for customer publisher

Key responsibilities include:
• Design of advertising across JPM portfolio
• Layout of magazine pages across JPM portfolio
• Layout of brand extensions such as directories
• Liaising with the ads sales team and external advertisers
• Design and sending of emailers and e-newsletters using MailChimp 
• Creating post-production files, including combined PDFs, RGB online page turners with added links, and managing Issuu accounts 
• Design and updating of media packs

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role in customer publishing with a minimum three years’ experience
• Excellent knowledge and experience of Adobe and Microsoft software,
• Mailchimp and CMS knowledge an advantage
• Excellent organisational skills
• Outstanding communication and people skills
• Reliability and efficiency
• Attention to detail
