We are seeking a Commercial Product Marketing Executive to join our product marketing team. Cloud Direct is one of the UK’s leading, and fastest growing, Microsoft partners.  The Commercial Product Marketing Executive will help develop the positioning and sales enablement of our propositions to deliver and manage Microsoft Cloud services for our customers.

Working within our marketing function, the Product Marketing team plays a critical role in making sure the technical features of our solutions are expressed as business benefits and meet the needs of our target markets. The product marketing function has a direct impact on the success of the sales team and helps Cloud Direct achieve its growth ambitions.

This is a perfect role for someone with marketing experience that is seeking the next step in their career wishing to specialise in product marketing. You will have a specific interest in proposition creation and go-to-market strategies in the tech sector and are looking for a role that, whilst challenging, will educate and progress you as an individual.

What you will be doing

  • Collaborate with other teams across the business on proposition development
  • Market research (including competitor analysis)
  • Communicating technical features as business benefits
  • Coordinate sales training
  • Creation of sales and marketing collateral including sales playbooks, brochures, website copy and case studies
  • Briefing our campaign and sales team to take a proposition to market

Skills and experience

You’re confident at

  • Understanding technology and communicating it as business benefits
  • Creating product marketing literature that engages the customer
  • Helping sales teams understand technical services and how to talk about them to their customers
  • Using Adobe suite for content creation

You know the basics of

  • Go-to-market campaign strategies
  • Microsoft cloud products (Azure, M365, O365)
  • Repurposing content into different formats and for different audiences

You’ll be trained up in

  • Microsoft technologies
  • Sales requirements and training sales teams
  • Applying market research to pricing, product and promotion strategies
