Purpose of the Role

To manage the production of a large range of titles from purchase order to completion by liaising with external manufacturers and internal teams.

Main responsibilities

• Effective project-management of a title list: Monitoring, negotiating, maintaining schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Organising and overseeing print process
• Liaising with printers and component suppliers globally to ensure agreed schedules are maintained.
• Escalating quality and schedule issues to the Production Manager for attention and resolution support
• Negotiating amendments to printing schedules and component deliveries
• Liaising with packagers, translators, project managers and editors to manage the printing of co-editions and UK/US titles
• Assisting to ensure our products meet all legally required safety labelling standards by liaising with our external consultants and arranging testing with our safety labs
• Quality checking of final product before shipment
• Maintain in-house database
