The Bath War Hospital: Acts of Kindness make a difference - funded by Heritage Lottery’s 1st World War, Then and Now Fund, B&NES Arts Development and the Theatre Royal Bath Creative Fund.
An exhibition in the RUH Central Gallery reflects the day-to-day life at the Bath War Hospital including reproductions of letters, photographs of soldiers, illustrations, poems, and artefacts sourced from local archives. The project also includes a series of 3D tapestries created by patients at the RUH, radio interviews, talks and ongoing submissions from the community relating to the War Hospital. We would like to create a dedicated website to the history of Bath War Hospital with potential to add further RUH heritage projects in the future.
We are looking for someone to create a website that we can then go on to manage and update; would you be able to help or do you know of anyone that can?
We want to leave a lasting legacy of the vital contribution that Bath made to the 1st World War through the many ‘acts of kindness' and generosity from the community; our budget is minimal but if you can help, or know of anyone else who can, then please let us know.
